The Half Cab came about in the early 90's after Steve Calallero approached Vans to rework his Pro Shoe. Taking what was happening in the streets; skaters taking high tops & cutting them down lower, leaving the shoe with ankle protection but giving more flexibility to do more advanced flip tricks. Thus, the Half Cab was born!

DuraCap™ - Adds another hidden layer of reinforcement under the suede, extending the life of the shoe with better durability & wear protection. Plus deeper knurl texture on the toe ends (the rubber where the upper & sole of the shoe are joined). Saving you $$$ with a shoe that last longer!

PopCush™ - Vans best insole, made with skating in mind. Energy return footbeds reduce foot & leg fatigue keeping you rolling longer. Longer skate sesh's for the win!
