BETTER BEARINGS

Better bearings was founded in 2014 by Ace Vagas (who founded the first Roller Derby shop in Australia) and Narsty.

Better Bearings is now owned and operated by Kerryn Brownson, a passionate Skater, and business owner who founded Skatescool Australia. Kerryn has taught over three thousand people to roller skate and is passionate about supplying high quality, affordable bearings, and using business as a force for good.

The bearings we use at Better Bearings are the highest performing from many, many trials……put through rigorous testing by some of Australia’s best skaters including the boys from Brisbane City Rollers ...and when they stopped breaking, we knew we had the right combination.

Kerryn’s completely committed to maintaining the reputation that Better Bearings earned by providing high quality, handcrafted, super tough bearings. She is also striving to make Better Bearings an environmentally sustainable company which fights for women's rights.
